Have you heard of A2 protein milk?

Once upon a time...

A2 protein milk has been enjoyed around the world for years and the trend is growing fast! Our Simply A2 Follow-on and Toddler milks might be new, but the nature of A2 protein milk goes back thousands of years, to a time when all cows naturally produced only A2 protein milk1.

Nowadays A2 protein milk is less common2, so we uniquely source our A2 protein milk from specially selected cows. These cows are doing things their very own milky way, by naturally producing only A2 protein milk!

But what exactly is A2 protein milk?

One of the major types of protein found in all cow’s milk is called beta-casein. Typical cow’s milk contains a mix of two key types of this protein - A1 and A2 beta-casein. A2 protein milk is made by cows that naturally produce ONLY A2 beta-casein in their milk.

The A2 beta-casein is the original beta-casein in cow’s milk, meaning cows naturally only produced A2 protein milk thousands of years ago1.
