Two Ingredient Pancakes

It’s pancake Tuesday and we’re excited! Pancakes on the menu is probably a rare occurrence in your household, as it certainly is in ours. It’s hard enough to prepare a meal with a little one around the place, especially when said little person is a toddler.

Here’s a quick & easy two ingredient  (yes, just two) pancake recipe that has now become a family favourite! All ingredients are suitable from 6months+, and depending on the stage of weaning that you are at, once your little one is good with lumpier textures they can have some too.


  • 1 banana
  • 2 eggs


  1. In a bowl, mash the banana well until there are no lumps left.
  2. Whisk together with the eggs.
  3. Grease a frying pan lightly and heat to a medium heat.
  4. Pour small spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and cook until set on the bottom side, flip and cook the other side.
  5. Serve with fresh fruit.
