We are recalling this batch as a precaution because some packs have been found to contain pieces of apple stalk. Apple is one of the ingredients in these muesli products.  We are asking parents with any of these packs, with these exact best before dates, not to feed them to their babies.

We are sorry that this has happened. Nothing is more important to us than the quality and safety of our products. This incident is linked to one batch of dried apple used by a supplier as an ingredient in these products. We regret that these products do not meet our usual high standards, and we have taken immediate action to ensure that our supplier maintains full compliance with our strict quality and food standards. Following an investigation, we are confident no other batches of this product or any other Cow & Gate products are affected. 

We would ask you to return any packets of Cow & Gate My First Muesli (330g) with the best before date listed above, to the store where they were purchased from or contact the store for a refund (with or without a receipt). 

No other batches of this product or any other Cow & Gate products are affected.
