What your toddler’s seeing at 12 - 18 months

12 - 18 months: what your toddler’s seeing

Learn how the development of your toddler's eyesight opens a whole new world of games, play and skills.

As your toddler’s co-ordination and brain development starts to catch up with their eyesight, you might have to start dodging some low-flying missiles! You’ll also be able to start introducing new, fun games like hide and seek, and they might even be able to help you look for their shoes! Getting them to find things or identify different coloured toys is a great way to encourage their visual and mental development.
