Cooking time: 10 minutes


  • 3 tbsp porridge oats
  • 200ml (7 floz) full fat cow’s milk


  1. Heat the milk over a medium heat.
  2. Stir in the porridge oats and simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Purée and add more milk if the mixture becomes too thick to achieve the desired smooth consistency.
  4. Cool and serve.

You can also try stirring in your baby's favourite fruit purées to create different flavours.
